How to Create the Perfect Gallery Wall at Home
Creating a gallery wall is one of the most impactful ways to personalize your home. But without the right tools and planning, it can quickly become a frustrating exercise in making holes. Here's how to do it right with a JAM by Window Techs system.
Step 1: Choose Your Layout
Before hanging anything, lay out your frames on the floor. Arrange them in different configurations until you find one you love. Take a photo of your final layout for reference.
Step 2: Install Your Rail
Mount a JAM by Window Techs along the top of the wall where your gallery will be. This is the only drilling you'll ever need to do. We recommend the Cliprail for most home gallery walls.
Step 3: Hang One at a Time
Start with the largest or central piece. Attach a cable and hook, hang the piece, and adjust the height. Then work outward, using a level to keep things aligned.
Step 4: Step Back and Adjust
The beauty of a rail system is that you can fine-tune positioning after hanging. Slide cables left or right, adjust hooks up or down — all without any tools.
