Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Partner

We ship all orders across India through Shiprocket, which networks with leading courier partners including BlueDart, Delhivery, DTDC, Ekart, Xpressbees, and others. The courier assigned to your order is determined automatically based on your pincode and package dimensions.

2. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated dynamically at checkout based on:

  • Your delivery pincode
  • The total weight and dimensions of your order
  • Available courier services for your location

The exact shipping charge is displayed at checkout before you make payment. There are no hidden shipping charges.

3. Delivery Timelines

These are estimated timelines. Actual delivery may vary due to:

  • Public holidays
  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Courier partner delays
  • Remote location constraints

4. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation
  • Orders placed on Saturday after 2:00 PM, Sunday, or public holidays will be processed the next business day
  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order is dispatched

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched:

  • You will receive an email with your AWB (tracking) number and courier name
  • Track your order anytime at: Track Order
  • Enter your order number and email address to see live tracking updates
  • You can also track directly on the courier partner's website using the AWB number

6. Packaging

All products are securely packed to ensure safe delivery:

  • Rails are packed in reinforced tubes or flat packs with bubble wrap protection
  • Cords and hooks are packed in padded pouches inside a rigid box
  • The entire order ships in a single corrugated box with appropriate padding
  • Fragile stickers are applied where required

7. Delivery Attempts

Our courier partners will attempt delivery up to 3 times:

  • First attempt on the scheduled delivery date
  • Second attempt the following business day if first attempt fails
  • Third and final attempt on the next business day
  • After 3 failed attempts, the package will be returned to our warehouse

To avoid failed deliveries:

  • Ensure someone is available at the delivery address
  • Keep your phone reachable — couriers often call before delivery
  • Provide accurate address details including flat/plot number, landmark, and pincode

8. Undeliverable Orders

An order may be marked undeliverable if:

  • The address provided is incomplete or incorrect
  • The recipient is unavailable after 3 attempts
  • The delivery location is outside the courier's serviceable area

In such cases:

  • The order will be returned to our Faridabad warehouse
  • We will contact you to arrange re-delivery (re-shipping charges will apply)
  • If re-delivery is not possible, exchange credit will be provided minus shipping charges

9. Shipping to Remote / Restricted Areas

Some remote areas, islands, and restricted zones may not be serviceable by our courier partners. If your pincode is not serviceable:

  • You will see an error at checkout: "No delivery services available for this pincode"
  • Contact us on WhatsApp at +91-9958803531 — we will try to arrange alternative shipping manually

10. Bulk and Commercial Orders

For large orders (typically B2B customers such as galleries, hotels, offices):

  • Contact us directly at info@windowtechs.in or +91-9958803531
  • We will provide a custom shipping quote
  • Bulk orders may have different lead times depending on stock availability

11. Shipping Damage

Despite careful packaging, damage during transit can occasionally occur. If your order arrives damaged:

  • Do not accept a visibly damaged package from the courier if possible
  • If already accepted, photograph the outer packaging and product immediately
  • Report to us within 24 hours of delivery via WhatsApp: +91-9958803531
  • We will file a claim with our courier partner and dispatch a replacement

12. GST on Shipping

Shipping charges attract 18% GST as per Indian tax regulations. The shipping charge displayed at checkout is inclusive of all applicable taxes.
